i had two separate men feel my balls today. that's two over my usual quota, but there it is. just thought i'd share it with ya.

the first one was at the doctor's office for my bi-leap year check up. it's the same doctor i've had for 8 years, but i hadn't seen him in about the last five. he sort of remembered me... he's a nice enough fella. the weird thing was, that after he did the usual turn and cough thing, (my boys seemed ok) he goes "ok, all done, no rectal! you're about 20 years away from getting one of those" - i was shocked. not that i wanted one, i mean i'm no freak, but this same doctor gave me a rectal exam 8 years ago! i remember it well. i had that "a guy shoved his finger in my ass" feeling for about a week, and it's probably why i stayed away from the good doctor for so long. this time i was all prepared for it too... i actually psyched myself into it by thinking, i'd rather have one guy feel prostate today than be ass up on an operating table and have 4 guys shoving things in there...

So what the fuck?? it's not like he remembered me... i had to remind him that i used to be a patient of his a long time ago. or maybe it all came back to him when he saw my cock and balls... he must have thought "oh yeah, i remember this guy, he had a great healthy prostate back in 1998"

so back to today...i had that nagging "a man touched my balls today" feeling in the back of my mind. as i'm walking back to the office, down 7th ave, there was some scaffolding in the sidewalk that split the usually large sidewalk into two smaller ones. it's waaaay too narrow for New York City. anyway, i pick the left one, and i notice a blind guy walking towards me with his blind-guy-long-stick-radar thing swinging wildly left to right. nothing unusual, he was swinging it pretty good though, and i made my way to the far right as much as i could. i was so concerned with missing the ball of the end of his stick (which i did, i timed right), that i neglected to see his wildly swinging left arm. in full plain daylight, this guy came up with his hand, which for some reason was palm up, and cupped me right in the cock and balls. not a quick brush, but a full cop-a-feel. i let out a somewhat strange sounding *uhmph* as he uncoupled himself from my crotch. to his credit, he kept right on moving.

Boozer, your idea to turn this assfaced site into a serious literary supplement is commendable. As the editor-in-chief, I encourage each of you to use this site however you see fit. Personally, I don't get poetry. I like the idea of it, but all my life I've pretty much never gotten it. I've never had the patience to appreciate the subtle elegance that poets get credit for. I'm a speed reader, and I skip straight over all the fluff that makes poems nice. It may be why i'm drawn to technical documents.

Boozer, I hope you never lose that idealism. Worthy stuff to pass on to your kids. And you're right, there aren't enough pop artists who spread awareness to the masses about the world's problems. Partially because corporation is king now; music has been pimped out to the lowest common denominator in many respects.

I thought Dylan's appearance on 60 Minutes was interesting, saying how he doesn't think he was a spokesman for anybody or anything. Isn't he considered important precisely because of how his protest songs spoke to an entire generation?

If you dig down a bit deeper and check out artists like Steve Earle, System of a Down, Chuck D, quite a few others actually...you'll find some exciting things. Strong political statements. Not mainstream like Lennon and Dylan were, but profound and powerful nonetheless.

And there are also men like Richard Goodstone, my bald hero. Bringing worlds together, promoting tolerance and activism, and most importantly, great music.

I would rather see stories and poetry on this blog, but you can hardly argue with All Sexy Wheelchair Girls. And the Rainbow Twangers clip is classic.

I haven't been on here in a long time...probably six months or so. Seeing Chet and Ricky this weekend at the Amy Strong Bowlathon made me realize how out of the loop I've been. As John Lennon said, "Life is what happens to you when you're busy making other plans."
We'll I've been thinking about Lennon and Dylan and other important voices of other generations, and it's been bothering me that we don't have any. I wrote a poem about Dylan and how the world needs another voice like his (I'm talking about his words as his voice, not the actual audible voice). I'll share the poem with anyone who cares to see it. So I'm thinking that we should reinvigorate this blog, or at least a portion of it, and make it more literary. Post poems, stories, etc... Who knows...maybe we'll become the voices. It's sounds idealistic, but I always think about Kerouac's Mexico City Blues. He was down and out and confessed that he has become "an idealist who has outgrown my idealism." That's the saddest line I've ever read.

Having had a crash course in kids' programming lately, I was very amuzed when I ran into this Rainbow Twangers Clip. Apparently, Rainbow was a 70's and 80's children's TV show here in the UK. This clip is fantastic, and it's probably caused by the extrememe tediousness that can happen when doing shows for kids.

I can't imagine this sort of thing ever happening in the US. Too bad.

Don't get me wrong, I like Michael Moore. I've read 2 of his books, enjoyed his documentaries, and generally find him to be a great defender of the working man... and an overall fine guy to have on your side, you know, sticking it to the man. The folks who are against what he has done with F911 are usually a bunch of uninformed idiots, who deserve to be personally flown to Iraq and made to work at Fallujah's downtown KFC.

I will speak of my hammertoe once and then probably not again until corrective surgery, at which time I'll detail the entire surgical procedure. I've been to the podiatrist twice, and I really dig how she handles my feet. She also treated me for athlete's foot, so I'm grateful for the cream. By the way, if you get athlete's foot, don't use Lotrimin. It's garbage.

For all you hammertoe virgins, it's a condition in which the toe is bent in a claw-like position. My claw is on the pinky toe of my left foot. Hammertoe is described as a deformity in which the toes bend downward with the toe joint usually enlarged. Over time, the joint enlarges and stiffens as it rubs against shoes.

It would be nice if I was one of those people with perfect features and only minor issues, like the occasional runny nose or scraped knee.

If I was an action figure, the back of the package would say:
